How would I get a shop to do this for me? and is there anything else I should have them fix/replace while they do it so I don't pay for them to just blow it out with air?

Have 2019 explorer and have noticed a coolant leak. I'm not a mechanic, but have some skills and worked on my vehicles whole life. The most major repair I've done is replace oil cooler on 2013 chevy cruze. So my question is should i take this water pump on? Or take to shop? Please any and all options welcomed

So you don’t need to swap the whole axle just gears????

Just did this on my 2014 Focus that appears to have a sticky clutch and has the same code as the video title. Key is use lots of brake parts cleaner while cranking the clutch actuator hole with the actuator tool, spray, crank, spray crank and only about 10-14 rotations MAX then turn it back down the whole ways. You will notice if you’ve never done this before, the clutch won’t go back down the whole way by itself. The goal is to get the clutch fork to completely release back down on its own after cranking up about 10 rotations. After brake parts cleaner, add a little WD40 to lube the actuator hole, crank up 10 rotations and back down. You may need to put it back together drive it for a little and do some more cleaning if you still have the same code and bad shifts. When this first started, I cleaned and lubed with WD40 as described, but the clutch fork wasn’t releasing back down on its own after being cranked and it was still shifting bad sometimes and showing the code. Drove it for about 2 weeks, then took it back apart and did some more extensive cleaning with the brake parts cleaner and then little WD40 lube at the end then after cranking 10 rotations, releasing the wrench made the clutch release it the whole way back down to the bottom. Now the code is gone and the car drives normal again. It’s just a sticky clutch and needs cleaned.

It would be much more useful for me to see in more detail what exactly you unscrew in the process, which bolts and how they are located, then your video would have an educational moment. I watched all the videos at x-2 speed and never saw the details, well, I'll have to figure it out on my own 🤔

Next time do it from top alot. easier remove valve cover harness ect alot faster easyer

Working on this right now. Day 3 got to the Water pump. Harmonic Balancer ears broke with the force of the 3 jaw puller. Hunting down hidden bolts on the time cover. Getting the red tabs to come up on the fuel injector connectors and one just outright falling apart. Broke the check valve disconnecting the air hose to the intake manifold. 8mm bolt on the bottom of the intake manifold snapped on 1st turn. It's been a wild ride so far.

the heavy duty trucking industry has had these or similar clutches for a number of years at least they have openings to let the wear soot out. the principal of this has been around for a long time.remember your old go cart with the centripetal clutch? ford would get a lot more mileage if had a an inspection hole to clean out the dust.

Ive never seen more excuses for running what cars with 650 hp run. You cant just make up a horsepower number and then run what cars with 300less horsepower run. Run a number synonymous with your hp claim and then get back to everyone. Until then , quit calling everyone who has actual knowledge on the coyote platform, a hater. I have clutch fork A stuck. Do you know from your experience if the circlip retaining the clutch pack can be reused if i was to disassemble and clean.
